Wow. Awesome stuff. My body has been so tightly guarded and i am working on slowly unwinding the built up armor.
I get confused about the whole idea of reducing pain... like wouldn't it just mean that you're masking the pain and therefore doing more damage by training through it? Like the same as just having painkillers?
What is weight bearing?
Hi Mike, is heat okay to use if you still have swelling?. I'm 2 weeks post ACL-R quad graft + meniscus repair. Trying to get hyper extension back
Thanks
My mom has neck pain and back pain but they are not taking any measurements.. should they?
Awesome video
So you told me how to do it the wrong way but how do I do it the right way! 😭🤔
Everytime i do this exercise i get 98% full knee extension, but if i wait 2 hours it gets back to its place , with like 80% extension.. it keeps going back..
Only people that are super active get it cutting 🔨⚒️ hammering painting mowing weed eating you name it I don't I got it and it's sore and it won't go away
Thanks. Best.

Scholar h.s.athlete football & track sprinter he suffered a left hamstring strain in the end of March ( track practice) nursed back with minimal runs on the rehab until only jogs & warmups, started to get to 90/95 sprints on sat may 18th for meet on may 19th Ichann Stadium. Ran lead in 4x100m. Led the pack by 3 1/2 steps to baton exchange. Felt minimal soreness afterwards for 3 minutes. 2 practices tues/ wed Gym then track no soreness. On Thursday 3rd practice on track felt a more severe pull after 3 practice baton exchange going 80%. . Looking for a recommendation of an Orthopedic specializing in sports legs youth Track - Also a rehab therapist. In the NYC area preferential to Brooklyn. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Dear Mr Reinold, last Aug I had knee othroscopic surgery to clean things up after breaking my patella that didnt need surgery.A few weeks after surgery I was cleared to continue PT. I was doing pt at home and strained what we think is where the hamstring attaches to the back of the knee. After that happened I lost my ability to straighten my knee completely when standing. It feels like im fighting against elastic bands that are holding my knee back. Is this a muscle issue or a tendon issue? Ive had an MRI but nothing is showing up and my Docs answer is " I dont know". Im still not freely walking after 1.5 years since breaking it. Its slow and frustrating. My knee cap has also lost its freedom to move around easily. Sometimes I feel buzzing and fluttering behind my knee like I stretched the hamstring.. Will a brace help with walking and what kind? will an exercise bike help? Ive been usingcombination ice /heat but Im not sure whats best. Thanks for any opinion and I understand you are not a doc and I am asking at my own risk . Thanks Barb
Sir i am physio studenr what are the exercise do for thia pain sir kindly tell me plzz
Thought i had the vid on 1.5x speed for a sec.
Training with a mask! WOW! You need a lot of cognitive rehab!
Hmmmm. I’m out of hope…it keeps “popping” and feels like my shoulder is pulling my neck!!
Stabbing pain behind both knees when trying to sit on my heels. Can torn a torn meniscus cause this pain? During jiu jitsu I’ve had my heel compressed to my butt and have had my knee pop and it hurts really badly but doesn’t seem to injure it any further. I also have osteoarthritis and tricompartmental syndrome of both knees.
so which graft heals fastest?
Hamstring
U saved alife today
Hello 👋 your thambnails is not good. i can Make thambnails for you ( only 5 doller for 1 thambnail
Sir, What if knee ffd 30 degree following tkr?
Good talk.
Very nice!
I had my surgery on 13th March, 24. I'm able to walk now, but my patella gets stuck when I'm walking. I'm not able to bend by knee while walking. However, if I'm sitting or lying on bed, I have no problem in bending my knee. Did anyone ever experience this? Any tips or advice? Thanks
I didn’t hear anyone speak on testing their glute to hamstring to low back pattern before movement to see if the firing pattern is the culprit to the “hamstring” issue… that way we can address the problem and not just out the onus on the hamstring.
what a waste of time!
Week five and I’m only two or three degrees left. I just get worried to get the last degrees for hypertension.
Manipulation good evidence for acute low back pain. No mention?
Thanks Mike
“It depends” saved you a watch
Do you have enough evidence with your patients, by letting them do load bear?
90 degrees with my elbow bent 90 and hand palm facing in front of me
Thanks guys, quick question. I just had a massive rotator cuff repair 2 weeks ago that included repair of full thickness repair of the supra, partial of the subscap, decompression, clavicle excision, proximal biceps tenodesis and glenohumeral joint synovectomy. Great doctor, his orders are 8 weeks in the sling, therapy to start 1 month after surgery in massive rct protocol, two weeks from today. I'm all set for the therapy, 24 up front with another 24 approved if needed. I anticipate exhausting all my therapies in order to return to work where I was injured. My take is I'm ok with working through the pain of extra scar tissue in order to allow more time for my tendons to heal to the bone and hold up long term. Appreciated all your input. Take care...
Honestly, I’m really looking for some solid advice and people normally don’t have time to just listen to banter and goofing around so I’ll pass on this video the videos that I will listen to or the ones it gets straight to the answers of my question which is can you heal a rotator cuff tear full thickness?
im recovery from a broken ankle and the best advice ive gotten from proffesionals in person is to do the abc’s with my big toe. physio was heal raises and electroshock. without videos like these i’d be going nowhere fast. still limping but getting better
It's been 3 months since ACL and meniscus surgery. pain and soreness are still there when walking. I also have a big trauma that is a little difficult to get rid of.
Helpful video. I'm just now realizing that a lot of problems that arise with the teres major muscle can be addressed and solved by addressing the lats. Gotta endure the gentle pain until problems go away.
You ALL, are the VERY BEST!!!! Thank you! 🙏😊
I like the hybrid. I feel like it’s the best way to keep pitchers on the mound more and prevent multiple TJs per career
I'm four years late to the party here, but what about the relative effects of stimulating mechanoreceptors in the joint for improving body awareness prior to exercise? A hyper volt may not be appropriate over a bony prominence of course, but another massage/vibration or percussion modality with a soft head that could be used over a knee for instance...could that be considered a re-ed intervention to increase joint proprioceptive awareness?
During prone IYT or standing IYT with resistance band, if I don't cue my shoulders back and down, will my mid & lower traps not get strengthened? Your response would be much appreciated, many thanks!
Hi, Dr. Mike. I decided to go back to basics for shoulder work and the first video I see is your going back to basics recommendations. You helped me enormously back in the day so I am here to say … THANK YOU 🌹
